Superbowl XLVII is going to be way more important than any other Superbowl. I have watched the games with my best friends Stephen Holcomb and Richard Rudie for years now. We have cheered them on when they did well and when they were terrible. I love my 49ers and will never stop cheering for them.
The reason why this year is very important is because it marks the 10th anniversary of Richard’s death. For those of you that don’t know, Richard died of seizure during Thanksgiving weekend. That same season we were supposed to go see a 49ers game at The Stick but never made it. It was going to be the first time seeing our team play on the home field live… I still have never been but I know that Richard has.
Now, I know that there are a few of you out there that don’t have horse in Superbowl XLVII race. If you could, please, cheer for the 49ers, it would mean the world to Robert, Margaret Rudie and Sarah Krenz.
Thank you all and God bless.
